Still have a question after reading this? That's what the free initial call is for.
We use the same standardised diagnostic tools as NHS services — DIVA-5, ADI-R, and ADOS-2 — so a diagnosis carries the same clinical weight. The difference is timing and cost: a private assessment lets you set your own pace rather than joining a waiting list, in exchange for a fixed fee.
Our reports are written to the same standard as an NHS diagnostic report, using recognised diagnostic criteria and standardised assessment tools, so they're designed to be accepted anywhere an NHS report would be.
Yes. The 15-minute call is free and there's no commitment — it's simply a chance to check the assessment is a good fit before anything is booked or paid for.
For the autism assessment (ADI-R), an informant interview with someone who knew you as a young child is normally required. If nobody is available, mention this on your free initial call — we'll talk through whether the assessment can still go ahead and what that would involve. The ADHD assessment (DIVA-5) doesn't have this same requirement.
No. It's a structured, interactive session involving conversation and activities designed to help your clinician observe how you communicate and interact. There's nothing to prepare for and no "right" way to respond.

Your feedback session will explain the reasoning behind your results either way, along with any recommendations. A different outcome than expected doesn't mean the process wasn't worthwhile — understanding what's going on for you is the goal, whatever the conclusion.
ADHD assessment is £350, Autism assessment is £750, and the Combined pathway is £950 — each covering the full process from initial call to feedback session. See the pricing page for what's included in each.
